Stranded in Shanghai

How a missed flight, language barrier, and getting lost resulted in one of the most memorable trips of my life.

The trip I didn't know I needed

"A testament to development", "Futuristic", "Iconic" - all things I've heard as ways to describe the Bund and Pudong. Happy to report they're all true.

When I landed in Shanghai, the immediate sense was that the airport was as chaotic as the streets, the language barrier was real, I had just come off an exhausting 17 hour flight, but I loved it. The rush, the adrenaline, the excitement. The things I feel when stepping foot into a new place for the first time.

I'll be back soon to explain what made this experience an unreal trek through one of the most wild places I've ever been.

Quick sneak peak of what's to come:
